History : Our Story
The Orange Foundation was established in 1976 for the purpose of
raising money to provide funds for scholarship awards and grants for
projects which are not supported by other funding. In essence,
the Fund is designated for scholarships or projects to be used to
benefit the town of Orange and it's residents.

Reasons for Giving
Our Funds provide special services, programs ands equipment which are not supported or are insufficiently
supported by other funding. These funds award grants and scholarships to: further the arts in
the community - buy books for the library - assist the elderly - provide equipment for the sick and
disabled - and aid other community organizations. The scope of our service is limitless.

Gifts To The Orange Foundation Become Perpetual
Gifts are added to existing funds, or create new funds. 100% of
all donations received are directed to the Foundation's
Endowment. Generally, only the income from these funds is
distributed, currently on an annual basis. Gifts given today keep on giving through the years.
How Gifts May be Given
The Orange Foundation receives cash donations, bequests,
securities, insurance proceeds and real estate. Donations
may be incorporated into existing funds or donors may establish
a new funds with a unique goal or selection criteria. A
minimum contribution of $5,000 is required to establish a new
scholarship or grant.
Tax Advantages
Gifts to The Orange Foundation are tax deductible according to
federal estate / gifts tax law. The Foundation is exempt
under section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.

The Orange Foundation is for people who want to contribute to
the community in a special way and become part of our good work.
Donations generate funds that reach out to every citizen in the
